Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Victoria (UVIC) in 1999. Drawn to obvious parallels between computers and the brain, Paul graduated once again from UVIC with a computer science degree with emphasis on Software Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering in 2004. Paul's main focus is in Java programming and quantum computing. He helped create UVIC's first quantum computing class, with three other students and two professors. This class focused mainly on Shor's Algorithm for Quantum Factorization, Quantum Encryption, and exploring communication possibilites stemming from quantum entanglement.
Paul worked with Columbia Basin Trust and Columbia Power Corporation as a co-op student for three years, building an information management system. He is a fresh graduate and excited to be on the team at Ludicorp.
Paul's hours away from his computer are spent kite boarding, downhill mountain biking, skiing and playing music. He is a drummer that has played more than 500 gigs, almost all major festivals in western Canada, and now brings his playful attitude and perspectives to the Ludicorp team.
